I took my first ceramic class at the University of New Mexico in 2007. I have been hooked ever since, dedicating my life to the craft. Santa Cruz, California, is my home and an inspiration for my work. The ocean waves, redwood forests, and rolling hills are the central subjects of my pieces. I intend to create vessels that enrich the eating experience. Over time, pots become like old friends, adding character and warmth to each meal. Ultimately, I aspire to make pottery that brings joy to everyday routine.
